Motion Design

Course Description: 

Introduces students to the principles and elements of motion design through studio practice. Students will learn to design video effects and animated sequences. Learn to layer and composite video, add video effects to footage, sound, and design motion graphics like title sequences, lower thirds, and text and logo animations.

Course Rationale: 

Creating motion graphics encourages students to express their ideas through an engaging and innovative digital format. Motion graphics can be used effectively in all industry areas, allowing students to improve their communication skills and digital literacy while learning key content objectives.
