Uncube Architecture Anthology
For this project we design a printed publication as a special/limited edition to support an electronic publication. We also analyzed current demographics, layout, type hierarchy of the epub, and proposed a conceptual editorial piece based on research of existing epub.
Uncube, was an award-winning digital magazine for architecture and beyond. Their issues covered subjects ranging from robotics, outer space, acoustics and bioarchitecture or new forms of communities and expo architecture via materials such as bricks to monographs including Frei Otto, Zaha Hadid and Charles Correa. Uncube’s format means that it reads “like print, but without the paper”.
This special print edition of uncube Magazine will be an anthology of the 43 issues. Individual issues usually have between 15-20 articles per issue. Unfortunately
a book that size would be a tome. So I will narrow the content down per issue to the main theme and the “most popular” articles that support that theme.
